Installation

Downloading client

If you do not already have a copy of the Sepialine client you wish to install, you can download one from the Argos Communication Service. To do this, open Safari and access the URL http://IPAddressOrHostname:Port/cs/Agent replacing IPAddressOrHostname and Port with the appropriate values, e.g. http://192.168.0.216:7080/cs/Agent. This will download Sepialine.dmg to your downloads folder and mount it on the desktop.

Mounting client

If you already have Sepialine.dmg and need to mount it (you do not see the Sepialine image on the desktop) you can do so by double-clicking on Sepialine.dmg.

Installing client

1. Double-click the mounted Sepialine disk to display the contents.
2. Double-click Sepialine.pkg to open the installer.
3. Follow the installer instructions, entering an Administrator's name and password when prompted.
4. You can now eject the mounted image and delete the Sepialine.dmg file if you wish.

Initial configuration

If this is a clean install of the Mac Agent immediately after installation it will pop up and display the preferences window so you can configure it.

1. If the preferences are grayed out, click the lock in the bottom left corner and enter an Administrator's credentials when prompted.
2. Enter the IP address of the Argos Communication Service in the appropriate box, e.g. 192.168.0.216.
3. If you wish to use HTTPS or the Communication Service uses a non-default port or path, you may click the Advanced... button to bring up the advanced configuration sheet. In the vast majority of cases this should not be necessary. 
4. Click the Test button to ensure the entered values are correct.
5. Change any other desired settings
6. Click the done button. This will prompt you to save your changes.
